Hello everyone!
First of all, I have to admit that I’m completely new to all this blogging business. And since I’m a newcomer, the most basic fear, or let’s say doubt (fear doesn’t seem appropriate for this rather minor concern) that I have, is not being able to gather any or at least a poor readership due to a lack of interest. What is more, one of the challenges that I consider quite tricky is to create a blog which is in contrast to those of others. Establishing a blog highlighted by a stunning design corresponding, encouraging and supporting the topic that I’d like to share with friends and eager readers isn’t as simple as it often appears to be.
However, why don’t we move on to some justified, REAL fears?! 😦
As the World Wide Web is never a hundred percent safe, we cannot really know how much of the information that we decide to reveal and which may, to a large extent, be also private is used and ABused for whatever matter. A whole cascade of problems, I could easily imagine to happen while blogging, can be caused by malicious or spam commenting. Then again, I can cause a couple of issues as well, e.g. in using visual but, unfortunately, authorised material without knowing.
But there is truly nothing that I fear more than getting hacked. Deciphering or cracking a password doesn’t constitute much of an obstacle these days. And once it happens, the ONE person is free to post whatever he/she wants on my behalf and even to delete all the precious news and research efforts I was so fully engaged in. 😉
